Funko POP! Releases Haunted Mansion Vinyl Figures

Disney theme park fans are a very dedicated lot. Whether they’re collecting pins or other kinds of Disneyland and Walt Disney World memorabilia, Disney park lovers put almost every other fandom out there to shame with their dedication. And maybe no attraction at any of the Disney parks has as devoted a fanbase as the Haunted Mansion does. Chalk it up to goth kids, horror fans, or just Nightmare Before Christmas devotees, but the home of the 999 Happy Haunts holds a very special place in their hearts ever since the attraction first opened in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square in 1969.

This past year was a special one for fans of the Mansion, as the long lost so-called “Hatbox Ghost” made a very welcome return to the attraction in Disneyland, after a forty-five-year absence. To celebrate old Hatty’s return, Funko POP! is releasing an exclusive figure of the Hatbox Ghost, available only at Disneyland in Anaheim and Walt Disney World in Orlando. Along with the Hatbox Ghost, Funko is also releasing vinyl figures of the three Hitchhiking Ghosts – Ezra, Gus, and Phineas (bet you didn’t even know they had names did you?).

These figures are priced at $19.95 each, and as of right now, are only available at D Street in the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland, and at Pin Traders in the Disney Springs Marketplace at Walt Disney World. Maybe if these prove to be popular, Funko can release these outside of the theme parks, and eventually create figures for the Bride in the Attic and other Haunted Mansion characters.
