Funko Adds ZOOTOPIA Pop! Vinyls and Mystery Minis to Collection

Dammit, Funko. Just when I thought I couldn’t fit any more adorable, marble-eyed pop culture toys on my desk, Funko has to announce new Zootopia Pop! figures and my future new obsession, mystery minis. Confession time: I love pretty much anything in a blind pack. The suspense of ripping through an opaque little big just to find out what beloved (or disappointing) character is inside is unparalleled in toy collecting. It began with Marvel Squinkies, wee little versions of popular superheroes that I hoarded like they were snacks in an apocalypse, and now I discover that Funko, purveyor of licensed film, TV, and video game figurines, has their own blind pack line? Game. Over.

The new Disney Pop! comes with Zootopia‘s main characters: aspiring police-bunny Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin), smooth-talkin’ con man Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman), Wilde’s insanely cute con companion Finnick, Godfather-esque antagonist Mr. Big, and one of the DMV sloths featured in the film’s latest trailer. As we learned in our preview of the upcoming Disney animated feature, Zootopia is part buddy comedy, part madcap mystery, so these are just a few of the characters that have been shown in promotional images and clips. But the Mystery Minis showcases the big, wild world of Zootopia, featuring civilized, walking and talking animals of all shapes and sizes.

I mean, look at that plump little cheetah! I usually don’t like to buy toys before I see a film, but I can’t imagine a scenario in which I don’t want to have him hanging out on my desk. (His name is Officer Clawhauser, for chrissakes.) There’s also Idris Elba’s Chief Bogo, J.K. Simmons’ Mayor Lionheart, an elephant holding a popsicle stick, and many more mystery characters to unpack.

Both collections will be available in February, just in time for Zootopia‘s theatrical release on March 4. Check out the rest of the Funko Pop! characters in the gallery below, and let us know which anthropomorphic animal is your favorite in the comments.
