Funko Celebrates 25 Years of THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS With New Toys

Twenty-five years ago, director Henry Selick brought Tim Burton’s delightfully ghoulish vision to life in The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s been a perennial Halloween and Christmas movie ever since its release in 1993, and Funko is celebrating the film’s first quarter century in style. But if you want to get all of the Nightmare Before Christmas exclusives, then you’re gonna have to hit a lot of stores!

Via Bloody Disgusting, Funko has unveiled its massive plans for The Nightmare Before Christmas line of toys and figures. Starting with the Vynl figures, Funko is releasing six characters in three sets of two-packs: Lock and Shock, Halloween Town Mayor and Barrel, and Oogie Boogie & Behemoth.

What about the Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington? He’s getting a Super Deluxe Vinyl figure with his faithful dog, Zero. It’s pictured below, next to the Hot Topic exclusive Jack Skellington with freaky trees drawn on to his skull.

Not cute enough for you? Then perhaps these SuperCute Plush figures will fill that void. Jack, Sally and Oogie Boogie will be available everywhere, while Dr. Finkelstein will be a FYE exclusive. Lock, Shock, and Barrel are Hot Topic exclusives.

If you want something more romantic, perhaps Pop! Movie Moments’ Jack and Sally on the snowbank will be of interest. There’s also a BoxLunch exclusive version of Zero, with a glow-in-the-dark chase figure.

Almost all of the major characters are getting Mystery Minis, with Pajama Jack, Oogie Boogie, and Zero as Walgreens exclusives.

Hot Topic has the Nightmare Before Christmas snow globes all to itself.

The Pop! figures are bit more macabre than the others, thanks to Doctor Finkelstein and his exposed brain, Oogie Boogie’s true form, and the clown with the tearaway face. Sally, Snowman Jack, Vampire Teddy, and Harlequin Demon round out this group of selections.

More exclusives lie ahead, with Hot Topic getting two Jack Skellington Pop! sugar skull variants, and a glow-in-the-dark Zero Pop! keychain. BoxLunch is getting the exclusive for the Jack Skellington Pop! keychain, while Barnes & Noble has the glow-in-the-dark Harlequin Demon Pop!, and Walgreens has the Devil Pop! for their collection. Diamond Select also has a Jack Skellington Pop! exclusive of its own.

Finally, Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, Sally, and Zero are getting Pop! Pen toppers, while Books-A-Million will exclusively release the Glittery XS Hikari Jack Skellington in black and white.

Funko will release all of its new Nightmare Before Christmas figures this fall.
