“They say you can never go back home, but we came back home.”
Those are the words of Dave Coulier in this new behind-the-scenes look at Netflix’s Fuller House, a reboot of the beloved ABC sitcom.
“Fuller House carries the same emotional, loving, family-tone through the show that the original did,” said Cameron Candace Bure, better known as D.J. Tanner. This time around though the set-up is flipped, with three woman raising three boys, as D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy will be the ones doing the raising.
“The first time we were all together as a cast again was at the table read, and it was kinda like we never left,” said Andrea Barber, who plays the infamous Kimmy Gibbler.
If it felt like they never left, it also looks like they haven’t really aged either. Seriously, working on a family-oriented show must be good for your skin or something.
“Looking around the room, seeing all of those wonderful faces, that I love, was a moment that you get maybe once or twice in life,” said Coulier.
The cast was clearly at home (pun intended) working together after all of these years, but the most exciting part of this video was the incredible revelation that the best cast member of all-time is returning: Joey’s puppet Mr. Woodchuck.
We weren’t sure if he wood be back.
All episodes of Fuller House will be available on Netflix on February 26th.
