A lot of people aren’t fans of winter, but even the coldest-hearted have to admit that Disney’s Frozen might be one of the few things that is cold, adorable and completely catchy. So when the studio released the animated short Frozen Fever last year, it was pretty much guaranteed to be a solid success. Just yesterday, the entertainment behemoth’s blog Oh My Disney! released this adorable emoji update to the cute film follow-up, and you can enjoy it now.
Complete with emoji Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristof and Sven, emoji Frozen Fever includes the tinny sounds anyone with an iPhone would recognize in their sleep. From the swish of an incoming message to the tip-tap of flattened buttons pressed underneath fingertips, Disney went all out to adapt the 15-minute animated short from earlier this year into this cute update.
They did the same thing with Frozen last February, in case you need the refresher:
Frozen Fever does what so many sequels do these days and takes the audience beyond the happily ever after. Time has passed and Ana’s birthday has arrived. Elsa and Kristoff aim to throw her the perfect surprise party, and all seems to be going swimmingly except that Elsa gets the sniffles. I’ll let you watch for the rest of the story or you can catch the original animated short on the Disney Animated Shorts Collection DVD and Blu-Ray.
Do you love it as much as we do when Oh My Disney! gives us little bits and pieces of our favorite movies? It’s a pretty fun blog that brings a special internet twist to Disney characters and stories. You might want to check it out when you’re trying to escape the clutches of family this holiday season.
