From “The Nerdist”: More “Jonah Alone”

If you saw Saturday’s episode of The Nerdist on BBC America, you saw episodes of Jonah Ray’s exciting new sitcom, Jonah Alone. If you missed it, watch these, the first a Very Special Episode in which Jonah deals with Mike Phirman’s new bass player “Notes” Palumbo’s drug habit the only way he knows how, and the second the Obligatory Clip Show that includes The One Where Jonah Rips a Baby’s Head Off and Matt and Phirm in a Sight You Can’t Unsee. (And if you missed the pilot, watch it here.)

Next week, The Nerdist goes to space with Buzz Aldrin — Buzz Aldrin! — and Bobak Ferdowsi — Mohawk Guy! — and comedy from Maria Bamford. Watch it Saturday at 10/9c on BBC America, right after new episodes of Doctor Who and Orphan Black. (Or on Sunday, 7/6c/4p on Space in Canada.)

Subscribe to the Nerdist Channel, where laugh tracks are kept to an absolute minimum.

  1. Lucy says:

I second giving Phirm a sitcom!

Also, I loved “Nerdist Lads Go to London.” I know it’s totally not feasible to do more of those but if the opportunity ever arises…please take it!

  2. This is so amazingly funny. I was literally on the floor rolling and laughing.

I politely request MORE Mike Phirman and more Jonah Alone.

I’m really excited about Maria Bamford. I cannot see how people will complain about Maria Bamford but I’m sure they will. I will take comfort in knowing they are completely off base. 🙂

  3. PoddSocks says:

Jonah Alone needs to be a web series on the nerdist youtube channel. it’s too good to only be a one off!

  4. Patrick says:

Matt and Phirman in drag. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

  5. frankmint says:

    Please, give Phirman a sitcom.

  6. Atticus says:

    Bamford! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
