FORZA HORIZON 2 Will Receive Standalone FAST & FURIOUS Expansion

There’s a Fast & Furious standalone expansion scheduled to hit Xbox consoles next month. Titled Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, the game is set before the upcoming movie and will feature players being assigned missions from Tej Parker, who is played in the film by this guy:

Before you even say it: no, that’s not me. Given that this is a standalone expansion, you won’t be required to own a retail copy of Forza Horizon 2 to play. The expansion will launch on March 27 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and will be free up until the release of Furious 7 in theaters. The expansion will get a $10 price tag after it releases. Here’s a look at the expansion’s teaser released today:

The important question to ask here: what took so long for this to happen? You would think that as over-the-top as the Fast & Furious franchise is, it would’ve been made into plenty of awesome video games. Well, there was that one 2006 game that came out for the PS2 and PSP, as well as Fast & Furious: Showdown on the 360– two games that I like to live pretending as if they never existed.

But before I go on ranting about that, please tell me: how does this Fast & Furious DLC for Forza sound to you? Do you think it will be the first video game to capture the essence of the movie? Are you as pumped as I am about Furious 7? Drive them thoughts on down to the comments below.
