Follow the Tale of House Forrester Within GAME OF THRONES: A TELLTALE GAMES SERIES

Telltale Games’ upcoming Game of Thrones adventure title is shaping up quickly. One moment there weren’t enough details, and now there are details aplenty!

Telltale Games has just announced that players will be following the narrative of House Forrester, a noble house from the Wolfswood north of Westeros. Having sworn fealty to the North and the Starks, they can be found at the stronghold Ironrath, built over 1500 years ago by Cedric Forrester and his three sons — triplets, in fact. House Forrester’s words are “Iron from Ice,” which refers to promotional materials we’ve been seeing surrounding the game as of late.

The game is poised to take place towards the end of Season Three of the TV show and end right before Season Five begins. Players will be able to visit beloved locales from the show and books like King’s Landing and The Wall, as well as Ironrath. The game will be played from five different points of view, and each character a member of House Forrester.

Whether they’re a family member or simply a layperson who serves the House, each will play their own part in keeping the Forresters from collapsing. It’s important to keep in mind, Telltale advises, that the actions of one character can ripple over into another’s narrative, so like the other games from the developer, it will be heavily reliant on events that eventually converge near the end.

As Telltale notes, House Forrester has yet to appear in the TV show, but their first appearance was in the book A Dance with Dragons, so diehard Game of Thrones fans all caught up the series should be familiar with their plight and the majesty of Ironrath and the ironwood forest in Westerns, which allows House Forrester much of their prosperity.

The premiere episode is, of course, “Iron From Ice”, and it will be the first of six episodes, all of which will be available for download soon on PC and Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and iOS.
