Fish Stands Her Ground in New GOTHAM Clip

While it’s had its ups and downs, something we can’t argue with when it comes to Gotham is its casting. Regardless of the occasional story bump, every actor on the show is brilliantly chosen for the role they’ve been placed in, and they bring it 100% of the time. However, there are some that shine brighter than others, and one of the brightest is Jada Pinkett-Smith as one of the show’s only non-comic canon characters, Fish Mooney.

Now on the run, Fish is getting a chance to play a much more physically intimidating character than she did in the first half of the season, and in one of the latest clips for Monday’s episode, she lays down the law in a big way without ever once raising a hand:

It’s clips like this that remind us of why Fish is the queen. No one messes with her because they know her bite is indeed much worse than her bark… well, no one but Penguin and Don Falcone that is.

But, Fish isn’t the only one with a new Gotham clip as we also have a nice moment between Bruce and Alfred to share with you:

Right now it remains a mystery as to what trip Bruce is going on, but based on the promo for this week’s episode, we’re hoping it somehow ties in with the origins of Scarecrow, which seem to be where things are heading this week – especially based on last week’s “The Fearsome Dr. Crane.”

Gotham airs Mondays at 8/7c on Fox.
