First SUPERGIRL-FLASH-ARROW-LEGENDS Crossover Teaser, and More TV News

Whoa. Did anyone else watch Westworld on Sunday? This last episode proved that they’re definitely not playing the mystery box game. Anyway, TV-Cap! You’ll find a link to our Westworld recap, the first teaser for the upcoming DC TV shows crossover, a blood-pumping scene from Planet Earth II, and more TV news.

Heroes vs. Aliens. The casts of The CW’s Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, and The Flash are coming together for four nights of crossover fun on November 28. The first teaser for the crossover is here, and it’s all about heroes facing aliens. Based on this brief footage of Supergirl meeting everyone, I cannot wait. [IGN]

A Black Market. iZombie duo Rob Thomas and Graham Norris have another series in development at The CW: a series about street gangs and magic. Appropriately titled Criminal Magic, Deadline reports the show takes place in a world where magic is contraband material. It will center on a young woman trying to hide magical powers and an undercover cop trying to survive, which sounds a little bit like the leads of iZombie. [Deadline]

Saying Goodbye. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend just underwent a bit of a change. Greg is going back to school, so actor Santino Fontana is leaving. Err, he’s left, actually. Having only signed a one-year contract, Fontana told Vulture, “It was a really tough decision, and it had a lot to do with my family and my base in New York.” Aww. I get it, and I think it’s best for the love triangle situation, but I’ll miss him. I’ve embedded one of my favorite Greg songs above. [TVLine]

Date Update. Just a quick tidbit on the premiere of Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger on Freeform. The initial script is in the middle of rewrites, and they’re hoping the show will premiere in winter 2018. [CBR]

Olenna Dishes. Game of Thrones needs more of Lady Olenna Tyrell. I love me some Queen of Thorns. In a deleted scene from season six of the series, she tells Mace Tyrell what’s what, and it is so very delicious. Watch it here at Nerdist.

A Race for Life. By all accounts, Planet Earth II is all about the awe and dazzle. The series has already premiered in the United Kingdom, and BBC America will debut the show in the U.S. on January 28. But clips are coming out, including an astounding one featuring snakes hunting a marine iguana. It’s extraordinary footage and had me on the edge of my seat. Whew. [Nerdist]

Men Who? Doctor Who is traveling through time and space to the Mr. Men children’s books. It’s a match made in heaven, right? The mash-up books will start arriving in spring 2017, but we have a preview of the style and story here at Nerdist.

Chappelle Meets SNL. Dave Chappelle hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time over the weekend, and he decided to bring characters from Chappelle’s Show into the mix in a The Walking Dead skit. Well played, sir. Well. Played. [Nerdist]

Answering Questions. Two popular series answered some questions in their newest episodes over the weekend. As long as you’ve watched the latest installments, go read our recaps for The Walking Dead and Westworld to review what we learned. And last but not least, we have a rundown of Dirk Gently, too.

Has your heart stopped racing after watching that snake scene? Head to the comments and tell me whether you think it should win an award for best horror short of the year.
