First Look at SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Vulture, Plus 8 New SUICIDE SQUAD Clips!

You’ll have to forgive us if our eyes look a little bloodshot this morning. We were working ’round the clock this weekend hunting and gathering news at the San Diego Comic-Con, and we ain’t finished yet! Today we’ve got even more material that came out during Nerd Prom, including the first-ever concept art of the Vulture’s final look in Spider-Man: Homecoming, a new Black Panther featurette on the Captain America: Civil War Blu-ray, a whopping eight Suicide Squad clips, a look at Kurt Russell’s costume in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and more!

Spider-Man: Homecoming

With Spider-Man: Homecoming being one of the highlights of Saturday’s Marvel presentation in Hall H at Comic-Con, the studio has release some fantastic concept art of Spidey locked in combat with the villainous Vulture. Michael Keaton will be the man beneath the metal wings in the film, and this gives us a pretty good idea of what he’ll look like when he appears on screen with new Spider-Man Tom Holland…

Captain America: Civil War

In other Marvel news… This year’s biggest Marvel movie is of course Captain America: Civil War, the Blu-ray of which will feature a multi-part behind-the-scenes documentary. Here’s a sneak peek at the chapter of the doc devoted to the film’s most exciting new character (sorry, Spidey!): the King of Wakanda himself, the Black Panther…

The Civil War Blu-ray lands on September 13.

Suicide Squad

Warner Bros. hasn’t been at all shy about sharing footage from August 5’s Suicide Squad. But the number of scenes at which they’re now offering us looks really is kind of mind-boggling. Here are a record eight (!) clips from the films, showcasing a plethora of Task Force X’s infamous villains. Note: if you want to see this film as fresh and unspoiled as possible, then you may not want to watch these!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

We were thrilled to learn this weekend that acting legend Kurt Russell will be playing Marvel’s longtime cosmic character Ego the Living Planet (a.k.a Peter Quill’s dad) in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. But if you couldn’t attend Comic-Con and see the Guardians panel, we’ve found some of the best photos online of Ego’s costume, which was on display at the Marvel booth throughout the event. Feast your eyes on these pics courtesy of Marvel Digital Media’s Ryan Penagos…

Batman and Harley Quinn

Last but not least… As excited as we are to see Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, the Dr. Harleen Quinzel we first fell in love with took a very different form, and even a different medium: animation! So we’re stoked to hear the news that Warner Bros. has three new DC animated movies in the works: Justice League Dark (featuring the company’s supernatural heroes), Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (adapting perhaps the most iconic New Teen Titans storyline by Marv Wolfman and George Perez), and Batman and Harley Quinn, featuring the Caped Crusader and the wildly popular antihero. All that we know so far about the latter film is that it features “a new completely original story from [Harley co-creator] Bruce Timm.” But that’s more than enough for me.
