First Look at Lindsey Stirling’s New Comic Book, SPARROW (Exclusive)

On her rise to musical prominence, acclaimed electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling released several videos on YouTube in which she covered famous music from genre movies, video games, and other geek-friendly media. Now, Lindsey is moving forward with her very first comic book series, Sparrow, and we’ve got the first look at the artwork from the series.

Imagine a world without hope or light, where the survivors can be stripped of everything…including their own names. The titular character in Sparrow is a girl who is struggling to survive in this hellish landscape when she uncovers an ancient object while hiding on a pirate ship. Now, Sparrow has a chance to change her world if she can make it through the journey ahead.

For this project, Lindsey is lending her likeness to the lead character and contributing to the creative process of this six-issue series. Transmetropolitan and The Boys artist Darick Robertson is writing and illustrating Sparrow, including the image you see above. R. Eric Lieb is co-writing Sparrow with Robertson, while Brandon McKinney is the inker, and Diego Rodriguez is the colorist. We’re also proud to present a second image from Sparrow by David Mack!

Then at 3 pm to 4 pm, Lindsey and David will be signing at the Aspen booth # 2320, which is directly across from the Marvel booth.

On Sunday, Lindsey, Darick, and David will all be back together for a signing at the Golden Apple booth # 1806 from 11 am to Noon.
