Final SPECTRE Trailer Has James Bond Haunted by Evil

As the time until James Bond‘s latest adventure, SPECTRE, ticks down like the seconds on an official 007 Omega watch, we’ve watched the existing trailers about as many times as a person can without knowing what exactly’s going on. Well, now a month out from the November 7 North America release, we get our final trailer, and I’m happy to say it does two things a final trailer ought to do: it shows us things we haven’t seen before, and it’s not very long.

We know already that James Bond (Daniel Craig) is finally uncovering the conspiracy pertaining to the shady criminal enterprise known as Spectre, and that its leader (Christoph Waltz, who I’m positive will turn out to be Ernst Stavro Blofeld, if for no other reason than Nehru jacket) has been the orchestrator of all of Bond’s bad times from all the way back. In this trailer, we get to see just how overwhelming this investigation will be. I mean, it’s not every day a piece of a building crashes into a bridge you’re standing on. For James Bond, maybe.

SPECTRE will likely be the final outing for Craig, and the second and last film by director Sam Mendes. Though not shot by Skyfall‘s cinematographer, the great Roger Deakins, SPECTRE was shot by Hoyte Van Hoytema, who shot Interstellar and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. So we’re certainly in good visual hands, as this trailer definitely illustrates.

Let us know what you think of the final SPECTRE trailer below, and tell us who you think Waltz’s character will end up being!
