I’ll come out and say it: I am one of those people who would eat anything that’s adorable. You ever heard the phrase, “so cute I could just eat you?” One of the adorable things I want in my mouth is a Pokemon, namely Pikachu, because come on, he’s fluffy and yellow and has the potential to electrify my taste buds, haha.
Alright, all corny jokes aside, I can now say that those who share the same affinity for wanting to eat all things Pocket Monster adorable can actually feast on the yellow creature thanks to a Pikachu Cafe opening up this weekend in Japan. You won’t actually be eating the Pokemon, sadly they aren’t real, but you’ll nom on Pikachu-themed foods and other Pokemon-related items.
Below you can see an image of a Pikachu head made out of rice on a bed of curry, a parfait with another Pikachu head resting atop, and a Pikachu curry bun. There’s also an image of a Pokeball dessert plate made from framboise and yogurt mousse. There’s even an image that’s the actual sign of the restaurant that reads “Pikachu Cafe” at the bottom.
