Father Gets ONE DIRECTION Tattoo for Radio Contest, Gets Disqualified

Roger Fraser loves his daughters more than some could imagine. When a local radio station in Indiana, 99.5 WZPL, held a radio contest for front row tickets to a One Direction concert that was coming to town, Roger set out to help his daughters Makayla and Maddie get to the concert. Instead of a boring old “be the Nth caller” contest, the radio station instead asked young girls to dress their dads up as the biggest One Direction fan and send in photos in order to win. Roger had an idea that would clinch the competition.

He got a real tattoo on his arm, declaring his love for the English boy band:

Yes, Roger Fraser loves his daughters. Sadly, this act of body modification was not enough to win those tickets. It could have been, except Roger and the girls learned a day after receiving the tattoo that the radio station’s rules stated the winner must be a resident of the state of Indiana. The Frasers are not, they live in Tennessee. Ouch.

It seems Roger was still able to take Makayla and Maddie to the concert in Indianapolis, despite not being able to sit up in the front row, go on stage, or meet the band. Sometimes you have to go bold in order to win, but always be sure to know the rules of the game before you jump in head first. The tattoo can always be removed, but not winning the concert tickets has gotten them even more attention than winning ever could have, as well as a lot of admiration for Fraser’s dedication to his daughters, so something tells me it will stay where it is.

What would you need to win in order to get a One Direction tattoo? Let us  know in the comments below.
