FAST AND FURIOUS Star Paul Walker Passes Away In Car Accident

It was too ironic for anyone to believe. When the news broke, many were like myself, under the impression that this was yet another Twitter hoax. But sadly, it has been confirmed that Paul Walker did indeed perish this afternoon in a fatal car accident while attending a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide in Santa Clarita, CA. He was apparently a passenger in a friend’s car when the accident occurred. The tragic event was confirmed via Paul Walker’s official Twitter account.

Only 40 years old, Walker was best known for his role as Brian O’Conner in the Fast & Furious movie series. Some of Walker’s best moments on film showed him bossing it up behind the wheel, which makes it that much more tragic that he had to go in such a fashion. Outside of the big screen, Walker was known to be one hell of a good guy, and surely he’ll be missed by his many fans and co-stars, who have already began mourning all over social networks.

My favorite Paul Walker film was Running Scared, which explored his grittier acting style as a novice Mafia thug fighting for survival. It’s a shame we’ll no longer be able to enjoy his work moving into the future. If you’re a Paul Walker fan as well, share with us which one of his movies was your favorite in the comments below.

When I heard the news of his passing, I was heartbroken. My prayers go to his mother, cause you’re suppose to go before your kids, and to his daughter, it’s hard to lose a parent. My favorite movie of his has to be fast and furious. All of them. Paul will live forever in our hearts. God just wanted him up in heaven.

  12. Jeff says:

Varsity Blues. Then I would say the Fast and The Furious series. I am just wondering what they are going to do about Fast 7, they are in the middle of filming it I believe.

  13. Chris Shimandle says:

Correction: The name of the movie is Hours with no The in it’s name.

  14. Chris Shimandle says:

A movie he was just recently in that was very interesting and different for him was The Hours. Most of the movie scenes are of him alone.

I’m really sad about Paul Walker’s passing… I know lots of people will watch the Fast & Furious movies but I’d like to honor his memory by watching The Skulls, She All That, Running Scared, The Death & Life of Bobby Z and Timeline… He was great in all those movies… I may cry a bit because this is so surreal… He was only 40… My heart goes out to his family, especially his daughter…

  25. Kat says:

The Fast and Furious films are favorites but I really loved Paul’s role in The Lazurus Project.

  26. Jessica says:

I would have to say, Meet the Deedles… Cheesy as it seems; it was the first movie that introduced me to Paul and he starred in my guilty pleasure “Timeline” R.I.P. Paul

  27. RG says:

The Fast & Furious franchise was getting so great. Nothing but fun action, without all the douchebaggery that plagued it in the beginning.

Such a shame to see this happen to somebody who was a part of something so completely fun.

  28. Steven says:

The Fast and the Furious. The Original. Hands down my favorite movie of his. But the first movie I ever saw him in was Meet the Deedles. He’ll forever be one of my favorite actors. RIP Paul.
