Fantastic Fest Goes On Tour Starting November 15th

Not everybody can get out to Austin, TX, to take part in Fantastic Fest, the world’s coolest and best collection of genre films, but now, for some lucky folks, the Fest can come to them. That’s right, Fantastic Fest is going on the road to showcase eight of the most popular movies from this year’s festival on a tour of eight American cities.

Austin, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, New York, San Antonio, and Virginia (you know, that well known city, “Virginia”) will be getting the opportunity to see films like Cheap Thrills, The Congress, Big Bad Wolves, and Why Don’t You Play In Hell. It kicks off this Friday, November 15th, at the Alamo Drafthouse locations in those aforementioned places. It’s like having a festival in your own backyard.

If you’re in one of those eight places, or can get there easily, you can buy tickets by going to the Fantastic Fest Tour site. If you don’t live near those locations, tell us in the comments where you hope they open an Alamo Drafthouse next.
