When the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer dropped, I went to the earliest possible showing at 9:30am EST. By the time I got home just a couple of hours later, there were already multiple pieces of fan art inspired by the glimpse at Episode VII on Twitter, Tumblr, and DeviantArt. I saw both quick sketches and detailed pieces. The 88 second tease inspired many more seconds of work and seeing the immediate excited response to The Force Awakens made my heart grow three sizes. Fandom is the best.
