Can you believe it’s only been one week since we first met Jyn Erso? The Rebel with a colorful background was introduced in the first teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Played by Felicity Jones, Jyn’s been recruited by Mon Mothma (still freaking out about that) for a very special mission: to steal the plans for the Death Star–the first Death Star, not the one many Bothans died to gather intel about.
The footage from Rogue One made me feel more excited than I thought I would, and I can’t wait to get to know Jyn more. And based on all the fan art I’ve seen, I’m not the only one who is looking forward to the film.
This week’s Fan Art Friday is all about Rogue One–well, mostly about Jyn if we’re being honest. She’s our lead and was the primary focus of the trailer, so course she’s going to feature prominently in fan art. I found several different takes on her, including this art by Ksenia:
