Ezra Unleashes The Force in New STAR WARS REBELS Preview Scene

Ever since the beginning of Star Wars Rebels, Ezra Bridger (Taylor Gray) has grown more powerful in the Force. In the penultimate episode 2015, Ezra will demonstrate just how far he’s come…and how far he has yet to go.

Disney has released a new preview scene from next week’s Star Wars Rebels episode, “Legacy.” In the clip, Ezra is desperate to return to Lothal after receiving a Force vision about the fate of his parents. But it couldn’t have come at a worse time, as the new rebel base is under attack by Imperial forces.

While the crew of the Ghost is pinned down, Ezra is far too angry to simply follow orders. In short order, Ezra takes the fight to his frequent nemesis, Agent Kallus (David Oyelowo)…and he comes out on top! It’s a truly impressive display, but Ezra is far less likely to be able to get past the two new Inquisitors, the Fifth Brother (Philip Anthony-Rodriguez) and the Seventh Sister (Sarah Michelle Gellar). And despite Ezra’s obvious anger, he’s definitely outmatched…

This episode marks the first time that Star Wars Rebels has revisited Lothal since the second season premiere. Months ago, Darth Vader (James Earl Jones) forced the rebels to abandon Ezra’s homeworld, and he even enlisted Agent Kallus to murder Minister Tua (Kath Soucie) and frame the rebels for her demise. Shortly before she died, Minister Tua hinted that the Empire had a deeper agenda on Lothal that was a closely guarded secret. Perhaps that will finally be explored next week as well.

Star Wars Rebels Season 2 continues next Wednesday, December 9 on Disney XD.
