EXPENDABLES 3 Teaser – More Names Than the Phone Book

Sylvester Stallone has made more movies in the past five years than he did for the entirety of the preceding decade. Every time you turn around, it seems like the 67-year-old is coming out with a new action movie, and his youthful exuberance seems to have extended to more of Hollywood’s biggest ’80s actioners for The Expendables 3. This teaser shows us very little, apart from seeing the full line-up of people in the movie and their corresponding last name, perhaps the largest above-the-title cast of any movie ever, a fact I will certainly not be checking on.

Besides Stallone, the third installment boasts Jason Statham, Jet Li, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kelsey Grammer (!), Kellen Lutz, Terry Crews, and real-life fighters Randy Couture, Victor Ortiz, and Ronda Rousey. Holy crap, man. One person who is definitely NOT in the film is Bruce Willis, who reportedly demanded an exorbitant amount of money for what would have been three days of work. His loss, I think; everybody else is at the party.

The Expendables 3 is slated for an August 14, 2014, release, and we can assume it’ll be full of more explosions, destruction, and references to people being too old for this shit. (Where’s Danny Glover in all this, anyway?) Are you excited for this movie? Can you believe the energy Sly seems to have? Talk about it below where it says “Comments.”

With Terry Crews in it, I’m hoping for as many Old Spice references as possible…

  2. Johan says:

Need Michael Biehn, Jackie Chan and Tom Selleck! 🙂

  3. Jake says:

Interesting choice of music. I, personally, think it’s about time that dubstep tackled the issue of how many balls Hitler had.

  4. Wiredwizard says:

All they’re really missing is Ron Perlman

  5. DJ Kento says:

I absolutely love this trailer. I think the franchise as a whole is pretty boring and that they don’t do much with these characters, BUT I think this trailer is great and I’ll see anything with Harrison Ford in it.
