We here at Nerdist love Robert Rodriguez’s new cable network El Rey. The channel features a curated collection of movies and TV shows and boasts its own original programing, both scripted and non-scripted, including From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series and the new spy thriller from the co-creator of Sleepy Hollow and Fringe, Matador.
So far we’ve brought you a four part behind the scenes production diary and exclusive clips and now, since everyone loves a good bad guy (and gal!), Nerdist brings you an exclusive photo gallery of the villains of Matador in anticipation for tomorrow night’s episode titled “Enter The Worm.”
Included in the gallery are baddies played by Jessalyn Wanlim, Michael Potts, Ryan Cartwright, Ivo Nandi, Jonathan “Cokey” Falkow, Michael Potts, Louis Ozawa Changchien and, of course, Emmy nominated actor and series regular Alfred Molina.
The official synopsis of the episode is listed below:
“After being whisked away on Galan’s (Alfred Molina) private jet, Tony (Gabriel Luna), Holester (Tanc Sade), and Caesar (Peter Gadiot) touchdown in Nicaragua, a world run by a drug cartel leader known as “The Worm,†where the stakes are high and the death rate is higher. Aided by an old DEA friend, Tony finds himself in a brutal futbal game where the prize is more than just walking away with your life.”
“Enter The Worm” will air Tuesday, August 12th at 9pm ET/PT. Matador, created by Roberto Orci, Dan Dworkin, Jay Beattie and Andrew Orci, stars Gabriel Luna, Alfred Molina, Nicky Whelan, Tanc Sade and Neil Hopkins.
