Proving that he’s much more than just a high-powered entertainment lawyer, Skip Brittenham has teamed up once more with his Anomaly cohort Brian Haberlin to put out a sprawling, Hitchcockian sci-fi thriller of a graphic novel entitled Shifter. And, much like Anomaly, this also comes with a nifty AR app that renders dozens of pages and panels in jaw-dropping 3D, adding in lush orchestration to boot. Also lending their talents to the app are a cavalcade of actors like Wil Wheaton, Olivia D’Abo, David Lodge, Dave Fennoy (Lee from The Walking Dead!), Ryan Cooper and more. Having read Anomaly, I can assure you that you’re in for a seriously compelling, gorgeously illustrated, Titanic-sized tome of awesome with Shifter. Basically, it’s like North By Northwest if Cary Grant could summon the powers of the entire animal kingdom. Cool? Cool.
In case you weren’t already excited by the prospect of having 3D Wil Wheaton narrate your sweeping graphic novel action-adventure, then we’ve got an exclusive clip that will take you behind the scenes of Shifter and explain why there was simply no other choice than Wesley Crusher.
What do you think? Are you picking up Shifter? Let us know in the comments below.
Oops, sorry, commented too soon – available now…
Mr. Wheaton hasn’t steered me wrong yet – so I’m in. When’s it become available?
