EXCLUSIVE: Dive into THE MARVEL EXPERIENCE with Kevin Smith

Your chance to fall deep down into the Marvel universe rabbit hole has finally come to life with The Marvel Experience, and we’ve got an exclusive video featuring Kevin Smith to show you just how much fun you could be having were you to head to their superhero extravaganza.

Turning the real world into a tented, fan-driven reality that’s chockablock with a fully immersive role-playing game of the highest order, The Marvel Experience is currently touring the country (tickets on sale here), bringing the Marvel universe beyond the screen into a livable, playable adventure.

With Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. as your guide, you can not only get in on the action, you’ll also be able to help save the planet. You’ll be the one going toe to toe with — and fighting alongside — your favorite Marvel characters. And it’s unlike anything you’ll ever experience again: rides, augmented reality, 3-D projections galore. Upping the ante like only the folks at Marvel can, it feels safe to assume you’ve never witnessed anything like this before.

“We live in a world where you can walk into this giant dome and go on an adventure; a 90 minute interactive movie,” explained Kevin Smith in the video clips below — and with all your favorite Marvel characters standing by your side, there’s no way you won’t get the full… Marvel experience.

The tour is currently in Phoenix, Arizona until January 3rd, before moving on to Dallas, Texas through Jan 15th. The tour the moves on to San Diego until February 7th, and ends up in San Francisco, California through the 27th of that same month.

Are you heading out to — or have already attended — The Marvel Experience? Let’s hear about it in the comments.

My son and I went with another family on Dec. 20th.  It was a complete disappointment for all of us, no one seemed to enjoy it.  We spent far too much time either standing in line or waiting for the ride to be fixed. Beyond that, there is really very little engaging content to keep the kids entertained. It was definitely not worth the money.

look at the yelp reviews for this thing.

While I had a good time, the event hasn’t been very well received in the Phoenix area. They’re obviously still trying to get the bugs out.
