Most people’s five year plans don’t include rampant destruction, universe-threatening evil, and a series of catastrophic events that result in nightmarish dystopian hellscape. Then again, most people aren’t the DC Universe during the events of Futures End. Last issue saw Tim Drake and Ronnie Raymond teaming up to rescue Madison Payne and resulted in her becoming one half of the new Firestorm. Now, in The New 52: Futures End #30, multiple storylines are converging on one another in an all-out battle against Brother Eye for control of Cadmus Island. Before you pick up this issue this Wednesday, be sure to check out our exclusive preview of the latest from DC Comics, written by Keith Giffen, Dan Jurgens, Jeff Lemire, Brian Azzarello, and illustrated by Tom Raney.
The issue finds Green Arrow, other Oliver Queen, Dig, Big Barda and others inflitrating Cadmus Island in an effort to defeat Brother Eye, but before they can make contact, they encounter a flying cyborg Hawkwoman OMAC that derails their efforts. But don’t take my word for it — read on and find out for yourself.
