Exclusive: Cap’s on the Run in This New CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Spot

Holy S.H.I.E.L.D.-balls, you guys! We’ve been getting new Captain America: The Winter Soldier content at a pretty steady pace in the form of featurettes, concept art, and stylized character posters, but today we have a juicy exclusive that not even Nick Fury is privy to: a brand new spot with some never-before-seen action sequences and tension so thick, you’d need a machete to cut through it. With explosions galore, Captain America on the run from his one-time employers, and the Winter Soldier hot on his tail, things are not looking good for the First Avenger. Oh, and this should clear up any lingering questions you may have about Robert Redford. I’ve already seen the film – which is awesome – and this trailer got me excited all over again to see it, so make like The Watcher and fix your gaze on its videographic delights.

What do you think? Are you excited for Captain America: The Winter Soldier? Let us know in the comments below!

  1. Red Zaku says:

Too late now, but they really should have saved the whole ‘Cap on the run’ bit until they’d gone ahead with Ultron and Ant-Man, gotten all these Netflix series out of the way, then have Disney put all the money up to get Spider-Man, X-Men, and FF, throw all that together for the third Avengers to make the Civil War happen. Oh and shoot Mark Ruffalo into space for Planet Hulk.

  2. Grumpy Humbug says:

I’m beginning to think you guys might have a bit of pull in the entertainment industry after all these years. Nice work.

BTW – I’m going to see this if only to see a bunch of helicarriers in drydock and Falcon. But the rest of the movie shows promise.

@Josh, my wording may have been a bit hyperbolic, but it’s directly proportionate to my excitement for the film.

  4. Josh says:

Well it doesn’t exactly clear up lingering questions about Robert Redford’s character. The line, “As difficult as this is to accept, Cpt. Rodgers is a fugitive,” is usually used by villains to make it seem like they don’t know the real story, true, and to manipulate those around them, but it still allows suspicion that maybe, just maybe, he doesn’t know what is really going on behind the scenes and is just as duped as the soldiers he is talking to. Of course he’s going to turn out to be evil but in the context of your average viewer, there are still questions.
