The first ABCs of Death anthology film is divisive, to say the least. With 26 short film entries in the anthology feature, the movie was both embraced and criticized by horror fans when it was first released in 2012. An ambitious project, ABCs united 26 filmmakers assigned a letter of the alphabet for inspiration and not too much else to create the most outlandish and often times disgusting death scenes they could think of. ABCs is back with a second installment and it’s safe to say that producers Tim League and Ant Timpson learned a lot from their first go around.
ABCs 2 features filmmakers from across the globe both in and outside the horror genre and is considered to be a very different experience from the first ABCs of Death. The first installment was a mixed bag in terms of quality and pushed a lot of buttons forcing the film to be censored in various parts of the world.
Today, we have an exclusive still from director Julian Barratt’s entry titled “B Is For Badger.” Barratt is an English comedian, actor, musician, and music producer. He is best known for his role as Howard Moon in the BBC cult comedy series The Mighty Boosh, which he co-wrote with his comedy partner Noel Fielding.
