Ew Ew Ew GAME OF THRONES Wanted Two Famous Siblings to Get Incest-y on the Show

Well, yikes. For as much as most any person would likely want to receive the offer of a guest starring role on HBO’s Game of Thrones, we’re in no way, shape, or form surprised that singer Lily Allen turned her opportunity down. Because the series wanted her to play a role that would have forced her to get a bit… sexual with her real-life brother, Alfie Allen. And whether you’re fan of the series or not, I think we can all agree that would’ve been too far, even for this incest-happy show.

While doing a Reddit AMA for her latest album Sheezus, a user asked the singer — who wrote a song about her brother titled “Alfie” wherein she implored her little brother to stop mucking about and get a job — what she thought now that he was starring on one of the most popular shows on TV. To which Allen replied:

“Well, that was about a 5 year disparity between the two! But I’ve been asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo, they asked me if I’d be interested in playing Theon’s sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit.”

So wait a second…did the series creators D.B Weiss and David Benioff want Allen to play Yara Greyjoy? The sister of Theon whom, when they first meet, he feels up and gets pretty incest-y with? Um, gross, guys. Way gross. Even for you. We already have to deal with Cersei and Jaime — why would you want to then throw these two real-life sibling stuff at us, too? Actually, maybe that’s a question better left to their respective therapists.

Turns out Allen felt the same as us, though, adding: “Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks.” Which is probably for the best, considering what sort of mental and emotional damage partaking in a scene like that would likely result in.

Anyone else supremely creeped out that the series would even consider suggesting this? Let us know in the comments.

Pretty judgmental of sexual activity, yeah? Who are you to say what sort of sex is and isn’t OK?

I wonder if this is a situation where someone wanted her on it, but the producers didn’t, so they offered her the role they knew she wouldn’t take?

I agree because Asha is a big role that should continue to emerge in later episodes and also a very strong woman which I don’t hin she can pull at all
