It’s official, folks. The Guardians of the Galaxy sequel will be titled Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2! But what can we expect out of the sequel to our favorite (and so far, the only) Marvel space opera?

Well, we know some stuff for sure, and we can make assumptions about others. For starters, writer/director James Gunn has confirmed at least one new member of the team, as well as three returning non-Guardians: Yondu, Nebula, and Kraglin. He’s also confirmed that we’ll meet Peter Quill’s father, though he won’t be J’son of Spartax, the canon comics Star-Dad. We also know the tone will be more emotional, and will dive deeper into Drax and Rocket’s psyches. But just who will be joining the team? And who the heck will be Star-Lord’s dad?
