Everything Coming to Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu in February 2018

Looking ahead at the next month of streaming, Netflix is bringing a boatload of original series, movies, documentaries, and comedy specials, while Hulu is adding new seasons of current favorite shows as well as complete series from recent classics. Not to be outdone, Amazon is debuting a few originals of their own, in addition to some of last year’s movies that flew under the radar. Let’s take a look!

Netflix

Netflix is going hard sci-fi this month with Altered Carbon, an original series with a heady concept and tremendous production value. February may be a short month, but Netflix isn’t skimping on the originals, including the ’90s-set high school comedy Everything Sucks! and DreamWorks Dragons: Race to the Edge, talk shows for Joel McHale and David Letterman, as well as comedy specials with Fred Armisen, Marlon Wayans, Derren Brown, and Kavin Jay. In features, Netflix is adding both volumes of Kill Bill, the original Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movie, Ella Enchanted, Men in Black, and the first sign of the oncoming apocalypse: The Emoji Movie.

For crime drama fans, former Castle star Stana Katic is headlining Absentia, a new original series about an FBI agent who resurfaces after having been held captive for years, only to become the prime suspect of several murders. Other Amazon Prime highlights in February include the fourth season of Mozart in the Jungle, the second season of Syfy’s The Expanse, both versions of Rollerball, and Logan Lucky.
