Every HALLOWEEN Movie Ever is Coming Home This Fall

Hot on the heels of the announcement that Halloween 3D is once again a go, Anchor Bay Entertainment and Scream Factory have announced that every Halloween movie — from John Carpenter’s original to the Rob Zombie reboots — will be released in a mega special ultimate Blu-ray box set! The two leaders in genre home entertainment will combine forces to bring fans 35 years worth of Michael Meyers when they release Halloween: The Complete Collection on September 23, 2014.

The press release explains everything included in the collection: “For the legions of Halloween fans, the Deluxe Edition boasts 15 discs and contains all the Halloween feature films – Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20, Halloween: Resurrection, Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween II. The set includes the NEVER BEFORE RELEASED producer’s cut of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers as well as the ultra-rare network TV version of the original Halloween, the network TV version of Halloween II,  plus the unrated versions of Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween II.  It is packed with hours of BRAND NEW bonus features including new interviews with cast and crew from the entire franchise!  In response to years of fan feedback, the first Halloween will now also include the original mono audio track and the set will include both versions of the original Halloween – the original Blu-rayâ„¢ release and the recently remastered 35th Anniversary version with the mono track added back in! It also comes with a limited edition 40-page book written by Michael Gingold of Fangoria Magazine.  The collectible packaging will include a newly commissioned illustration on the outer case and each film will be in its own black Blu-rayâ„¢ case with the original theatrical one sheet as the key art. This deluxe set carries an SRP of $169.99.”

Jiminy Cricket, that’s a lot of Halloween! Anchor Bay and Scream Factory consistently do right by the fans by releasing titles that we all want to see restored and made available to add to our collections. I think it’s pretty awesome that they were able to come together to make this happen.

Halloween: The Complete Collection (until they make Halloween 3D and then we must start all over) will be available September 23, 2014.

Rob Zombie sucks and shouldnt be part of such a storied franchise.

I’m interested in the producer’s cut of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers…but probably not enough to repurchase the films I already own. Plus, I never want to own the Rob Zombie versions…after seeing the first I didn’t bother with the second.
