Ahhhh, the 90s: a decade home to wild movies like Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park, cult-famous shows like The Simpsons and Boy Meets World, and best of all, super tacky commercials. Yeah, it really seemed like the 90s were the last decade to really go all-out on the cheese when it came to product placement. However, while the decade may be long past, its legacy has not been forgotten.
What if we told you the latest short from Freddie Wong and the gang at RocketJump evoked some truly great 90s nostalgia feels? Would you be interested? Of course you would:
Oh, and thereâs a lovely uncensored version too:
Do you guys remember back in October when Adult Swim pulled a cruel joke on all the insomniac and early rising members of the country in the form of Too Many Cooks, a short, dark-comedy sketch that aired at four in the morning one random weekday? Thatâs what this reminds us of.
What we really wonder now, though, is how things never went this wrong for Alex Mack during any of her various Nickelodeon adventures. Surely she would have fused with something in her path while traveling as a liquid puddle. Then again, it was the 90s, and some things are just meant to remain unquestioned and unexplained. She was able to turn into a traveling puddle of liquid metal, and these kids are now the worldâs scariest VHS monster ever committed to screen.
