No, that wasn’t some strange fever dream; you just watched the trailer for Escape From Tomorrow, the indie-film and Sundance darling, set to be distributed on October 11th. Yes, the movie is shot entirely in the Disneyland and Disney World resorts, and yes… someone might get sued.
The now infamous film was given very little hopes of getting a release, so it’s pretty incredible this film will be viewable at all. The movie is described as a “fantasy horror” film, and is definitely not your average Disney company fare.
Be sure to take this very different trip to the House of Mouse, when Escape from Tomorrow becomes available.
Well that video has been removed from YouTube (could that be a bad omen? legally, perhaps) and that poster is an interesting homage to Disneyland – Walt Disney World design drawings (like ’em or not, design artwork from when Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT) was in its early stages – and while Walt Disney was still alive in ’66 – are keen collectors items) ….

@ccrosby this poster is a lot cooler, in my opinion: http://insidemovies.ew.com/2013/09/03/escape-from-tomorrow-mickey-mouse-poster/
It should be banned for that terrible artwork alone.
