Enjoy Breakfast Aboard The Jungle Cruise Sunrise Safari Adventure

Is your breakfast routine lacking in elephants, headhunters, or piranha? Then Disneyland’s Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure may be just what you’ve been waiting for. Fans of Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise now have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely morning cruising down the river while you learn to skipper your own boat and eat breakfast along the way.

For a mere $300, the special breakfast adventure down the African veldt includes:

…a wild assortment of unique breakfast favorites inspired by the jungle diet of the rare “brunching tiger,” including fresh pastries, exotic fruit & chia parfaits, eggs, glazed pork belly bacon, pan-seared sausage and roasted gold potato & onion hash along with an assortment of juices, freshly brewed coffee and specialty teas.

Hm, no Mickey Mouse waffles? Those must be endangered. The event starts at 6:30am before the park opens to the public and the best part of the deal, in addition to breakfast, is your very own private cruise where you get to hone your skipper skills! That’s right, if you’re tired of sleeping zebra and Dr. Albert Falls jokes, now is your chance to show off your stuff and give your best animal-themed stand up jokes a go.

To prove you’re worthy of being an unofficial Jungle Cruise skippers, the cost includes a special Tribal Mask keepsake to commemorate the once in a lifetime adventure.

A big fine print on this, the $300 surprisingly does NOT include the cost of admission to the park. After you’ve brunched and cruised, you will be escorted out of the park and allowed to re-enter only if you’ve bought a ticket to the park. Interesting. If price sounds steep, think about it: when’s the next time you’ll ever get to see the 8th wonder of the world, the backside of water! Oh right; the next time you go on the ride.

This special event starts this Monday, September 21, and runs through December 2. Tickets are available from the Disneyland website.

Would you pay $300 for a chance to eat glazed pork belly bacon while skippering the Jungle Cruise? Let us know in the comments!
