Emma Watson Relived an Embarrassing HARRY POTTER Outtake on JIMMY KIMMEL

Emma Watson booked one of the biggest acting gigs in Hollywood history at only nine years old–and on her first ever audition, no less–when she was cast as Hermione Granger for the first Harry Potter movie. She spent the following decade growing up in front of the world on the big screen, which means the whole world has lots of embarrassing photos and videos of her when she was younger. And to the surprise of no one, Jimmy Kimmel was more than happy to make her relive one of those more embarrassing childhood moments.

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live (via Entertainment Weekly), the host made the Beauty and the Beast star watch an outtake from the very first Harry Potter film, The Sorcerer’s Stone. It might be easy to miss exactly what the problem was at first glance, but look again and you’ll realize that Watson is actually mouthing costar Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint’s lines along with them while they are speaking. It’s completely ridiculous and hysterical, but also adorable.

“You laugh–this is actually quite traumatic for me,” Watson said to Kimmel, explaining how this habit caused her to ruin takes. “I was such a loser.” Watson explained that she loved the books so much and just wanted to do a good job, but she couldn’t help herself. But clearly she overcame the problem, we’d assume, since they kept her around for another seven films.

But when we go back and re-watch The Sorcerer’s Stone for the 8,000th time we’ll be paying extra close attention to whether or not one of these mistakes slipped into the movie… and we’ll be on the look out to catch her growling along with the beast in her latest outing.
