EA Launches Game Time Promo With 48 Free Hours of TITANFALL

If you haven’t had a chance to pick up Titanfall for the PC, EA is offering you 48 hours with Respawn Entertainment’s shooter starting this weekend. It’s part of the publisher’s new Game Time promotion via Origin, allowing gamers two days of access to the full version of a game. The clock starts ticking as soon as you launch the game, but you get to keep your progress should you decide to convert the extended demo to a full sale.

Seriously, Titanfall is pretty good. Dan thought it was more than enough reason to pick up an Xbox One when it launched in May, and Respawn is promising new Burn Cards and tweaks in the near future. I haven’t had any hands-on time with the PC version, but I’m curious how it looks on a high-end rig with cranked-up specs.

No word on what other titles are coming down the pipe for Game Time deals, but the publisher has confirmed that there will be new offerings down the line, some with different countdown clocks (a close-ended, narrative-based game might benefit from a substantially shorter period, for instance).

This is the latest move by EA to match or exceed some of the functionality of Steam and other digital video game services. This is on top of their Great Game Guarantee program that allows users a full refund within 24 hours of launching a game.

As of this writing, the promotion isn’t available yet in the U.S., but EA assures that they will add it to their Free Games page as soon as it launches.

cracked up graphics don’t really enhance it all that much sadly on PC, Its hella fun but once its maxed out it looks good but I wouldn’t say beautiful BF4 looks better.

  2. Shayde says:

Too bad you have to install their crappy steam knockoff to do it. no thanks!
