EA came to play on the weekend before E3 2018. To kick off the annual presentation, EA showed gamers a new trailer for Battlefield V, which will bring players back into the trenches of World War II. But this isn’t like all of the previous WWII shooters you’ve ever played. Battlefield V will allow gamers to shape the sandbox of war. The new Battlefield V trailer shows off a glimpse of their options during the intense multiplayer experience.
At the conference, EA indicated that Battlefield V will be the “deepest” and “most immersive” game in the franchise. For example, players will be able to move fences and air-turrets around on the field, and they can even dive and crash through windows like action stars. Don’t expect to hide from tanks in buildings, because they can just smash through them now. There will also be a new battle royale mode, but it wasn’t given a video preview.
EA is promising that every battle in Battlefield V will be unique, in part because of the new choices available to players. The game will also have classic modes including Conquest and Grand Operations, which will recreate real historical battles that will play out over multiple maps and modes. Those are the incidents that proved to be decisive moments during the second World War.
Battlefield V will launch on October 19, and players who pre-order will be able to join the Open Beta for early access to the game.
