DRAGON BALL Z’s Goku Plays SEINFELD’s George Costanza in This Weird-as-Heck Crossover

We’ve done some pretty strange pop culture crossovers on our Alpha series Talkin’ Toons. We’ve had Cinderella fill in for Grand Moff Tarkin, we’ve mixed up The Big Lebowski with The Powerpuff Girls, and we’ve reimagined The Godfather with Goofy. But our latest mash-up might be our weirdest yet, because it’s hard to think of two characters less alike than Goku and George Costanza.

In this clip from the latest Talkin’ Toons, host Rob Paulsen and Dragon Ball Zs Sean Schemmel recreated the infamous “double dipping” scene from Seinfeld, when George is reprimanded by a stranger at a party for his dining faux pas. Rob filled in for the incredulous party-goer with his spot-on impression of Green Acres actor Pat Buttram, and Schemmel took over for the selfish George Costanza as the noble, caring Goku.

Considering how much Goku loves any and all foods, we can actually picture this exact scene playing out on Dragon Ball Z. Nevertheless, this ranks as one of the weirdest segments in Talkin’ Toons history… which is exactly why we love it so much.

If you want to see the rest of this interview, full episodes of Talkin’ Toons can only be found at our online Alpha community. It’s only one of our many great shows there, and if you are not already a member your first 30 days are free when you join. We’re basically inviting you to an amazing party and taking care of your cover fee for you. But hey, when you’re there, don’t double dip. We don’t care if you’re a neurotic, selfish New Yorker or a virtuous Saiyan.

What other famous character would be as weird to have Goku play? Yadda yadda yadda your thoughts in the comments below.
