DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE Drives the Nerdist Crew Super Saiyan

I know, I get it. It’s been a long, grueling month of waiting… but you can relax now, because Dragon Ball XenoVerse has finally hit the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. This means that we can all get in on the game’s 3D destructible environments, massive free-roaming battle spaces, huge roster of iconic Dragon Ball Z characters, and its insanely deep character customization starting today. Since there’s sure to be a rise in Dragon Ball XenoVerse addicts over the course of the next few weeks, I thought I’d issue a warning about what happens when you play too much of this game and are faced with adversity in your normal everyday life. A few Nerdist folks personally experienced the ramifications of catching the Dragon Ball XenoVerse bug just a few weeks ago.

It was just another normal day here at Nerdist Industries. Jessica was getting her fix of mandatory pre-shoot java; Dan was being his cool, calm, and always laid-back self on the thinker; and I was setting up for another electrifying live-stream session with our wonderful friends on our Twitch channel.

But in the blink of an eye, everything took an aggressive turn for the over 9000. Jessica found herself taking a hot bath in her favorite morning beverage, Dan was forsaken by the custodial gods, and I hit my proverbial burst limit after technical difficulties prevented me from showing my Twitch buddies Dragon Ball XenoVerse in action. The result: well, you’ll just have to scroll on up and see what happened for yourself.

Do you plan on picking up Dragon Ball XenoVerse for yourself? Who is your favorite Dragon Ball Z character? Kamehameha your answers into the comments below.

Is it me or do the Super Saiyans turn from brunette haired aliens to blond haired green eyed super beings? Then in GT they’re either hazel eyed  red furred tailed saiyans (or in Vegeta’s case turquoise eyed brown haired). Is this a race thing do they want to be humans or what I’m totally lost …
