“Downton Abbey” Season 4 Due In U.S. January 5th

Well, now, what do we have here? We have a U.S. premiere date for Season 4 of Downton Abbey, and if Season 3 didn’t turn you off, you’ll want to be watching your local primary PBS affiliate on January 5, 2014 to see the first of eight new episodes, unless, that is, you know the magic alternative methods of watching everybody’s favorite British period soap opera when ITV airs it in the U.K. in the Fall. (I wouldn’t know anything about that, of course. Why are you looking at me like that? Stop it!)

So, now that (name redacted) is (method of departure redacted), will (name redacted) find a new suitor? Will the shocking loss of the popular (name redacted) leave a pall over the proceedings? And with (name redacted) gone, will a new villain emerge? (Yeah, I know, but enough people haven’t caught up even months later that I feel weird spoiling things) January 5th, PBS. Are you going to watch, or did Season 3 send you packing? Comment below….
