Well, well, well. It looks like Cards of Humanity has done it again. In a move of sheer genius, everyone’s favorite card game has partnered with Netflixâs smash hit House of Cards to create, obviously, House of Cards Against Humanity.
Players of the card game for horrible people have manufactured their own themed cards for fan-favorites like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad in the past, but until now, none of them have been official, and none of them have actual had the word âcardsâ in the title.
Cards Against Humanity introduced the new pack on its official website:
âLast month, someone in the Netflix marketing department had an epiphany: House of Cards and Cards Against Humanity both contain the word âcards.â When we got a phone call from Netflix, we enthusiastically agreed that the two products indeed contain the word âcards.ââ
Just as with the recent â12 Days of Holiday Bullshit” campaign, the physical packs for House of Cards Against Humanity sold out in mere minutes. Donât worry, though. You can still download the pack in either plain text or PDF. Check out the official site for the full details.
Kudos to Cards Against Humanity and Netflix for coming up with this insanely crafty marketing campaign. You win the internet yet again.
House of Cards Season 2 premieres this Friday, February 14th via Netflix.
