Earlier this year, fans of the beloved bear Paddington Brown got the perfect film in the form of Paddington 2, which maintains a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s impossible to imagine another cuddly creature being more endearing or heart-warming than Paddington, but this Pomeranian in a blue duffle coat and old red hat comes pretty close. Truth be told, the pooch wouldn’t even really need to try this hard to look like the perfect Paddington, but the get-up makes for one of the best dog costumes ever.
We came across this obviously very polite, absolutely heart-melting doggo at Geekologie. Bertram the Pomeranian (a.k.a. Bertie) “wrote” on his Instagram account—which you will definitely be visiting when you need some Paddington-like emotional support—that his Halloween costume came in a few months early, which means Christmas came really early for the rest of us.

What makes this even better is that, just like Paddington was adopted by the Brown family, Bertie is a rescue dog. So yes, this is somehow even more perfect than Paddington 2, which we didn’t think possible. (Although if this pupper ever stared at us in disapproval we would lock ourselves up in prison.)
