Ah, the Fourth Doctor! For many of us, he will always be the definitive Doctor Who. Erudite in speech, stentorian in tone, authoritative in manner, yet able to switch gears from end-of-the-universe drama to lighthearted comedy in a split second. With manic energy to spare, he basically created the template for all the Doctors who’ve followed him. Yet despite his record-setting seven-year reign in the ’70s and ’80s as the the galaxy’s most beloved Time Lord, Baker never had the opportunity to do a Doctor Who Christmas Special. (Compare that to the current Doctor, Peter Capaldi, who, with only two seasons under his belt, we’re about to see in his third Christmas Special!)

Fortunately, Baker’s made up for lost time by presenting special Christmas video greetings to his fans over the years. Starting with a rather randy one he recorded during his tenure as the sword of justice from the planet Gallifrey, way back in 1978, co-starring the late Mary Tamm’s lumious Time Lady Romana and his robot dog K-9…

Now, many years later, on the occasion of his 82nd Christmas, Baker has debuted his latest bit of yuletide magic, which, fittingly, has a slightly dark edge…
