Oh Hai!
Just some quick bits of Who-related news today, but they’re fun and exciting nonetheless.
FIRST UP!
The BBC has released a quick little teaser for the new series (starting April 23rd!!) Nothing too telling, it is a teaser after all, but still neat.
ALSO, they’ve released a teaser for the prequel to the first episode of the series. What? I know.

SECONDLY!
The start date of Torchwood: Miracle Day has been announced as July 8th! And here’s a nifty new poster to prove it!
Conveniently, Torchwood begins just a few short weeks after the Doctor Who hiatus begins. It stands to be an excellent Spring/Summer/Fall. DW and TW fans, commence the giddiness!!!

I didn’t even know about Torchwood starting back up! Yessssssss…
delicious
Ummm, one question. Is this BBC America broadcast promo or is it BBC One broadcast promo. Cause if its BBC One, then BBC America Starts the show three or four weeks later. At least that’s what happened last year. They don’t show their popular shows at the same time as Britian over here. Apparently they’re being patriotic or something. Letting Brits see it before Americans…How selfish! š
Just a heads up

This Friday on the BBC website there will be a ‘prequel’ that kind of sets up a story (like info you need to know before the real episode) They will do three this season
hmmm 3 days after my birthday. It’s a late b’day present for me
Prequel? March 25th? Wait, that’s Friday… is there new Who on Friday?!?!?!??!?! *passes out*
I gotta say, I was fine until now. The usual excitement, sure, but the word “Prequel” just showed me I was lying to myself and am really as impatient as usual. So many questions! I Feel like i’m watching Lost, here!
Ooooooh! I think I might just burst from all this excitement!
So excited for both! I loved Ten, but Eleven had some of my favorite stories and I can’t wait for there to be more of his episodes so I can add some variety to my obsessive DW rewatching marathons.
First we have Who part 1, then Torchwood, then Who part 2? You’re right, Chris. 2011 is going to be a good year for us Whovians! Also, just bought tickets to see you at The Wilbur Theatre (cos we’re fancy like that in Boston) with my very own nerd father! He told me to listen to your podcast the day it came out, and we’ve been comparing geek notes ever since! Can’t wait to laugh hysterically! š
Yay!!!! I would love to see good things happen with Torchwood! Maybe the “miracle” is that Children of Earth was just a terrible dream and never actually happened? “Just kidding guys! Ianto Jones is fine, and also Tosh and Owen for some reason! Watch as they all enjoy a fabulous picnic and then go fight the bad aliens! Of course it was a dream, cuz why would we do that to our own show?” Sigh… I made myself sad again. Truly, I can’t wait for more Torchwood, hopeful to see the series get back to what made it great, and so very excited to witness new and exciting adventures featuring one of my all-time favorite characters: Captain Jack Harkness!!! Also crazy-excited for new episodes of Doctor Who, but that goes without saying. <3
Is it April 23rd yet?!?!?!!!! *flail*
Giddy as a 12 year old girl with a new Justin Beiber album, over here! The countdown begins!!!
