What a good way to end a tense Doctor Who-newsed week. Premiering as part of this year’s Children in Need special on BBC 1 today (though there, it’s the evening… timey wimey? No, just time zones)… anyway, here we have the first glimpse at this year’s Christmas special, another Moffat-scripted, WWII-era holiday feast entitled “The Doctor, The Widow, and the Wardrobe.”
Wasn’t that cool? And Bill Bailey’s in it, apparently playing someone from Halo. Quite excited and, of course, check back here for the review of the episode by yours truly after it airs.
Thanks to BBC AMERICA for posting the vid!!
-Kanderson loves Christmas. And Doctor Who. And TWITTER followers.
That fucking ginger kid.
Halo? Looks more like Fallout, or Warhammer 40,000.
If it turns out that Master Chief is Bill Bailey I might actually play the new Halo game.
Love it, can’t wait for it.
Nice touch having the forest in a Blue wrapped Box.
“What do they teach you in schools these days?” – Awesome! I’m hoping for lots more Narnia references!
a Forest ?
as in GAMMA FOREST ??
As in Lorna Bucket’s GAMMA FOREST ???
“The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” does have a forest as the background setting though..
Although the tagline “A Time Lord never forget his debt” released some time ago makes me think that it is Gamma Forest…..
I wonder if Stephen Moffat is pulling RTJ’s “good queen Bess”-trick.
I can’t wait for the Christmas Special !!
YAY, I’m so glad we celebrate this time of year for this one reason. Funny enough it’s mirroring a work by CS Lewis.
Best Christmas ever. I know!
A noticeable lack of Amy and Rory … which I’m okay with because of BILL BAILEY
Doctor Who + Christmas + Narnia + Halo + Bill Bailey = OMGYAY!!!1
