Disney Reveals the Name of Its Streaming Service, Plus New Shows

It’s no surprise that the company that owns the highly secretive Marvel and Star Wars franchises isn’t always forthcoming with information as quickly as we’d like, but today Disney dropped a whole lot of exciting news, including the confirmation of a Loki TV series, another live-action Star Wars series featuring the return of Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, and the name of the streaming service on which they’ll broadcast: Disney+!

While we reported on a Loki mini-series in September, today Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed it would move forward with Tom Hiddleston starring as the trickster god. The shocking news came when Iger also said that in addition to Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, Cassian Andor from Rogue One will also be getting his own live-action series, with Diego Luna returning to the role of the Rebel spy. You can read more about that one right here!

Both shows will air exclusively on Disney+. What project are you more excited for? Tell us why in the comments below.
