Death Metal Drummer Annihilates ‘I’m a Little Teapot’

Teapots are, inarguably, dangerous. Fill up one of those suckers with boiling water and some Camellia Sinensis leaves, and you not only have yourself the requisite combination for a delicious spot of Oolong or a cup of Earl Grey, but also an object that’s (literally) steaming hot. Something that can burn you and do damage. Although no matter how hot a teapot gets, it will never be able to melt your face off like this face-melting drum solo of “I’m a Little Teapot” by Canadian drummer Joey Muha.

There is no dragging or rushing here: Only a thorough thrashing of a drum set and a classic American children’s song.

Muha—the lightly shredded fellow doing all that not-so-light shredding of the drums in the above video—is a member of the American industrial metal band, Jungle Rot, as well as the star of his own eponymous YouTube channel. Along with “I’m a Little Teapot,” Muha has lent his penchant for death metal drumming to tons of other classics, including the theme songs for Bomberman and Rugrats, and even the “Care Bears Countdown.”

Now that we have an updated death metal drums-only rendition of “I’m a Little Teapot” though, we really need a complete song with vocals. A bit of screamo with the cream-o-blending genres here, but this is all about experimentation with different flavors.

How stoked are you by this version of “I’m a Little Teapot?” Do you have a full-blown Harvey Dent face now thanks to all that mug melting, or are you just READY TO SERVE SOME FREAKING TEA OUT OF THIS MOTHER TIPPIN’ TEAPOT?!

Let us know below.
