DC and Sprinkles Celebrate Batman Day With Comics and Cupcakes

It’s Batman Day, it’s Batman Day, happy, happy Batman Daaay! That’s not a song but it should be because this Saturday, September 26 is the day that DC Comics has christened as Batman Day! A day to share, support, love, and eat all things Batman.

We already know a great way to start off Batman Day is by making Batman Bacon Pancakes, but what about that mid-afternoon lull when you need a sugar rush? Batman cupcakes and comics to the rescue!

To celebrate Batman Day, DC Comics is launching a 24-hour eBook sale on September 26, offering essential Batman graphic novels for only $3.99 each. For one week only from—September 22-28—they will also be offering 1,000 Batman titles for digital download at just $0.99 each.

In addition to this spectacular digital comics sale, Sprinkles has teamed up with DC Entertainment to create Batman Day themed cupcakes for fans who love the Dynamic Duo (I’m talking Batman and cupcakes). Handcrafted from the finest ingredients, comic book fans can get these special cupcakes for just one day —again, that’d be September 26—at all Sprinkles stores nationwide.

For cosplayers or those who just love living the Batman life, Sprinkles will give a free cupcake to the first 100 customers per location who come in for their bat-treats dressed up as Batman. A pretty sweet deal for just putting on a cowl.

No word on whether the hero of Gotham cupcakes will be available via Sprinkles famed cupcake ATM, but machines have never stopped Batman before. One thing’s for sure, these cupcakes taste like justice.

Follow Sprinkles and DC Comics social media channels for all the Batman Day activites and let us know in the comments what you’re doing on this special day. If you hit up Sprinkles in your best Bruce Wayne alter-ego attire, make sure you tag @nerdistdotcom and @justjennrecipes on Instagram. Happy Batman Day!
