The Batman: Black & White comics series inspired an amazing line of statues from DC Collectibles over the last several years, and now the film noir-tinged comic is spawning a series of action figures as well. Just announced by DC Comics, the new action figures will debut next summer, and feature various different versions of the Dark Knight in two-tone glory.
After more than 75 statues and counting, DC Collectibles is transforming its longest running and most popular line of Batman Black and White statues into highly detailed, articulated 6.75ââ action figures. The first wave debuts next year in June 2018, and stars Jim Leeâs Batman from the epic “Hush” storyline, Greg Capulloâs Batman from Scott Snyder’s New 52 Joker saga “The Death of the Family,” and Batman from the Dark Knight’s first ever appearance in Detective Comics #27 from 1939.
DC Collectibles is also adding three new black and white variants to its first wave of DC Artists Alley designer vinyls, which are all based on the popular style of artist Chris Uminga. The upcoming DC Artists Alley line celebrates offbeat artists and allows them to put their unique spin on DCâs most popular and iconic characters. The first wave of figures, including the newly announced variants, showcase Umingaâs take on the DC Trinity of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
DC Collectibles is also bringing to life the gruesome, axe-wielding Batman from Greg Capulloâs currently running Dark Nights: Metal #1 variant cover as a 12ââ DC Designer Series statue. This new take on Batman will be joined by a new Harley Quinn: Red, White and Black statue by Jae Lee and a life-size replica of The Joker cane. The cane features an intricately designed Joker-themed handle and is an accessory sure to enhance your swagger. You can check out images of all these amazing items down below in our gallery.
