Darth Vader-Inspired PlayStation 4 to Hit Stores This November

If you’re still indecisive about which next-gen console you’re picking up and you’re a Star Wars fan, the solution to your dilemma has arrived. PlayStation VP of Publisher Relations, Adam Boyes, took to the stage at the D23 expo Sunday to announce a limited edition Darth Vader-inspired PlayStation 4. The PS4 is fully customized with the haunting image of Vader on its body, and a Dual Shock 4 controller–which took inspiration from Vader’s chest panel– that features a red D-pad, white analog sticks, and a Star Wars logo pattern on its touch pad. The PlayStation 4 will be available starting on November 17 as a part of two separate bundles.

The first bundle will include the Darth Vader-themed PS4 and Dualshock 4, the deluxe edition of Star Wars Battlefront, and a digital voucher that will give you access to four classic Star Wars titles: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter. The classic titles are playable for the first time on PlayStation 4, and will include trophy support and spruced up visuals. You can also pick up the Star Wars Battlefront bundle, minus the Darth-Vader-themed PS4 and controller, if Darth Vader really isn’t your jam.

The second bundle groups the Darth Vader-themed PS4 set with Disney Infinity 3.0, the Disney Infinity Base, the Rise Against the Empire Play Set Pack–which includes figures for Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Boba Fett, as well as the Rise Against the Empire Play Set piece–and the aforementioned digital voucher. This bundle will only be available for a limited time at Wal-mart.
